Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival our representative will receive you and guide you to your vehicle. Drive to your designated hotel . Our representative will assist you with the check-in formalities and inform you of your next day's program.

Day 02: Delhi

Since the flights arrive late in the night the morning is to relax and unwind. Later in the day you will begin your sightseeing of the important sites in the city.

Some of the monuments worth visiting are the Red Fort, Jama Masid (Mosque), Gandhi Memorial, India Gate, Humayun's Tomb & the Qutab Minar. It is also recommended that one drives around Lutyen's Delhi and walk in Connaught Place.

NOTE: Red Fort is closed on Mondays.

Day 03: Delhi-Agra

After breakfast drive to Agra approx 210 kms -05 Hours drive. On arrival check in to Hotel. Later visit Agra Fort - a visit to the fort in 'Agra' is must since so many of the events which lead to the construction of the Taj took place here.

Later visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 1630 AD for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. It's a poem written in white marble, the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Overnight stay.

Day 04 : Agra-Samode

After breakfast drive to Samode. Enroute visit a beautiful and deserted medieval city Fatehpur Sikri built by Akbar the Great in the 16th century. The Mughals later abandoned it for lack of water.

On arrival at the Samode Bagh, a garden with Tented Camp, a very beautiful setting for those who like soft adventure. You will have a tea break before you get on a Camel back to explore the surrounding villages from the height. Later drive a short distance to the Palace, which is your home for the next two nights.

Day 05 : Samode

After a leisurely breakfast drive to visit the Amber Fort the seat of the Maharajas of Jaipur before the city of Jaipur was founded. Since the visit is quite extensive take a break at one of the local restaurants for a refreshing drink or a light midday meal. Next on the agenda is the visit of the City Palace Museum & the Jantar Mantar, the stone Observatory in the heart of the Old City.

Return back to Samode Palace.

Day 06: Samode-Jodhpur-Manwar

In the morning drive to the Sanganer Airport in Jaipur to connect flight to Jodhpur. After arrival you will have a short visit of the majestic Mehrangarh Fort. Later drive to the Manvar Desert Camp, which is located in the midst of sand dunes in the Thar Desert in am amazing setting. You will watch the Sunset over the sand dune horizon while sipping on a good cup of Indian Tea.

The Camp is your home in the desert, an excellent place for a family break.

Day 07: Manwar

Morning enjoy a two hour Jeep Safari in which you will visit villages, see a few craftsmen at work and en route might come across Indian Gazelle, Blue Bulls, or a Desert Fox. Later in the afternoon enjoy a camel ride, which takes you to the highest dune overlooking the camp for the sunset and a sundowner.

Day 08: Manwar-Narlai

After breakfast drive via on your way to Narlai, a quaint little hamlet dotted with beautiful old temples, a step well and marble archways. The beautiful village surrounded by Aravalli Hill Ranges is arrived after driving through some interesting villages.

The Hotel Rawala Narlai has been done up very tastefully by its well-known designer owner, Ragvendra Singh Rathore.

Day 09: Narlai-Udaipur

One of the most liked activity of this hamlet is to take a walk up to the nearby Lake. The fresh air and the surroundings of the bold stone, temples and the smell of the earth make this walk a very special one. Once you reach the Lake site you see a lot of migratory birds and you can enjoy them from the distance having a good Indian Tea sitting on the Rock.

Get back to the hotel & enjoy a good sumptuous breakfast served by the self-trained local staff from the village. Enjoy the rest of the morning at the swimming pool. Get ready to leave around midday and look forward to your next surprise at the Ranakpur Jain Temples. The main Temple stands on 1444 pillars and has a unique architecture. After the visit drive through the hills all the way to the city of Lakes, Udaipur. Your selected Hotel here is a newly built Fort, Fatehgarh. Its design is based on inspirations from the temple you have visited in Ranakpur. Enjoy the view from the terrace & all around.

Day 10: Udaipur

Enjoy the morning view at sunrise from your room window of the surrounding valley or the city surrounded with lakes. After breakfast drive into the city to do the sightseeing and shopping. Important sites to be visited are the City Palace, the Jagdish Temple, Folk Art Museum & the Sahelion ki Bari (Maidens Garden).

Later in the late afternoon enjoy a private boat ride on Lake Pichola and visit the Jag Mandir.

A special dinner is arranged for you at the at main Palace "Shiv Niwas" which is now a all suit Place Hotel.

Day 11: Udaipur-Mumbai-Goa

After breakfast transfer to Udaipur Airport to connect the flight to Goa via Mumbai. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 12: Goa

Day at leisure.

Day 13: Goa

Day at leisure.

Day 14: Goa / Mumbai

Today you fly to Mumbai with all good memories of a wonderful, exciting, educative, relaxing Family Holiday. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 15: Mumbai

After breakfast on time transfer to Mumbai Airport to coonect the flight for your onward journey.
