Day 1 : Arrival Delhi

Arrive Delhi meet & assistance at the airport. Later transfer to the hotel. Night stay in Delhi

Day 2 : Delhi

Morning proceed for city sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting Old & New Delhi OLD DELHI - A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India NEW DELHI - An extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Night stay in Delhi

Day 3 : Delhi - Khajuraho

Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Khajuraho. Your stay here brings you to a world heritage monument, the famed Khajuraho temples with their delightfully erotic carvings, built by the Chandela dynasty more than a 1000 years ago. In the evening you can witness a sound and light show at these temples that brings the past to life, right before your eyes. Overnight Stay at Khajuraho.

Day 4 : Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh

After breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh, one of India's famous nature reserves. It has an interesting mix of jungle, scrub forest, wooded ravines and high cliffs, where eagles nest. And hidden deep within this forest are a wide variety of wild animals that you will see on your forays. Indian tigers, leopards, bears, sambar, chital, nilgai (the blue bull), chinkara and wild boar. Interestingly, the original albino 'White tiger' also came from nearby Rewa. In the evening you will drive through the park and see the animals at their watering holes. Overnight stay at Bandhavgarh.

Day 5 : Bandhavgarh

Start early on a dawn visit to the jungle in hunt of the ever elusive tiger. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the area on your own or take a nature walk with professional lodge naturalists, and gather a wealth of information about the animals and plants of the jungle. In the evening, take another trip into the jungle.

Day 6 : Bandhavgarh - Kanha

From Bhandhavgarh drive on to another wildlife park, Kanha. In the heart of India's Kipling country, Kanha is known for open grasslands, dense deciduous forests, and high plateaus that offer great opportunities to spot wildlife while riding an elephant or a jeep. Later in the morning, see tigers sunning themselves on the rocks, herds of the chital spotted deer, or the once rare barasingha (swamp deer) relaxing in their natural surroundings. Look out for dhole, the reddish dog-like animals, the elegant blackbuck, the 4-horned antelope or tiny mouse deer. In the evening, take another jeep ride into the park. Overnight stay at Kanha.

Day 7 : Kanha

Spend another day discovering the plant and animal life of Kanha, with morning and evening rides, and daytime walks through the trees. Overnight stay at Kanha.

Day 8 : Kanha - Jabalpur - Agra

After breakfast, take a six hour drive to Jabalpur to board the overnight train to Agra.

Day 9 : Agra

Arrive in Agra, check in to your preferred hotel and you will have the rest of the morning free to relax. In the afternoon, take a half day city tour of Agra to visit the magnificent Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, and also to shop for souvenirs at Agra's famous marble shops. Overnight stay at Agra.

Day 10 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Bharatpur

After breakfast, drive to the deserted, but beautifully preserved ancient capital city of Fatehpur Sikri. Drive on to Bharatpur, the home of over 400 different species of birds at this world heritage national park, Keoladeo Ghana. This acclaimed bird sanctuary is the winter home of migratory birds from as far away as Siberia and China. Visit the park in the evening on a cycle rickshaw with a trained naturalist, or take a boat ride inside the park. Overnight stay at Bharatpur.

Day 11 : Bharatpur - Ranthambhore

Revisit the park at sunrise and get another view of the wonders of nature. The serenity of the area punctuated by the sounds of thousands of birds will carry you into another world altogether. After breakfast, begin your journey to Sawai Madhopur and the Ranthambore National Park. At Ranthambore, you will stay at one of the lodges outside the park. Overnight stay at Ranthambhore

Day 12 : Ranthambhore

The Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of India's conservation programme, Project Tiger. Once the hunting ground of Indian princes, this national park stands atop a 600 m high hill range, and is covered with thorn trees, scrub and grasslands. Dotted with beautiful ponds, streams, lakes and old ruins, it is the home of the tigers of Ranthambhore that have often been photographed by visitors from all over the world. Countless other game, especially larger and smaller herbivores also abound. Early in the morning, you will leave for the park by jeep, accompanied by a naturalist. Return for breakfast, and the afternoon is free to explore the area on foot or by bullock cart. Revisit the game park in the evening. And even if you don't spot a tiger on your visit, Ranthambore will enthral you with more than 400 kms of amazing landscape. Overnight stay at Ranthambhore.

Day 13 : Ranthambhore - Jaipur

After one last visit to the sanctuary, you will drive on to the Pink City of Jaipur. The city tour that awaits you this afternoon includes the City Palace where the world's largest silver vessels are located, the I7th Century observatory with its 28 m high sundial, and the unique Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds). Day 14 : Jaipur - Departure

This morning you will make an excursion to the Amber Fort, with its old Rajput palace overlooking a beautiful lake. After lunch, drive back to Delhi where you can spend the rest of the day at leisure till you board the international flight back home.
